# Meeting was held between Mr. Zahid Maqsood Sheikh, Chief Executive of PASDEC

Meeting was held between Mr. Zahid Maqsood Sheikh, Chief Executive of Pakistan Stone development Company (PASDEC) and APMIA representatives including Mian Gulzar Ahmed, Chairman APMIA, Muhammad Bilal Khan, Senior Vice Chairman APMIA, Sheikh Iftikhar Rashid, Vice Chairman APMIA and Executive Committee members Shakir Ullah, Asghar Khan Utmankhel, Farrukh Majeed, Muhammad Sabir Khan and Haji Muhammad Rafiq.

Following achievements were made in this meeting;

i) 4 Canal land was approved for Marble City, Risalpur

ii) Shakir Ullah, member of Central Executive Committee APMIA will represent the stone sector from FATA region through an official appointment from PASDEC.

iii) PASDEC will provide the complete list of idle machinery and the machinery in current use, so APMIA can assist PAASDEC for the accurate and proper utilization of these machinery.

iv) APMIA and PASDEC will jointly arrange at least one Exhibition especially for Marble/Granite/Stone sector. And will mutually participate in Xiamen Stone fair, China in March 2019

v) PASDEC has not shared the audit report on their website, that will be uploaded and will be shared with APMIA.

vi) PASDEC will provide the list of board of directors with their complete details along with the bylaws of electing PASDEC board of directors so they can be elected through the mutual consent with APMIA in future.

vii) APMIA and PASDEC will mutually make future policies and plan of activities for the advancement and betterment of Stone Sector.

viii) PASDEC advisory committee will consist of the following APMIA members,

a) Asghar Khan Utmankhel

b) Muhammad Shakeel Munir

c) Shabbir Ahmed

d) Atiq Ur Rehman Abbasi

e) Sheikh Iftikhar Rashid
